In order to meet the requirements of petroleum and chemical enterprises to reduce pollution and carbon synergies, green and low-carbon development and transformation, and to comprehensively improve the comprehensive efficiency of environmental management, and to build a beautiful ecological environment, the ‘16th Shanghai International Chemical Equipment Expo’ was held on 19-21 November 2024, during the same period, the ‘Symposium on Deep Treatment of Chemical Wastewater and Resource Utilisation Technology’ was co-organised by the National Engineering Research Centre for Efficient Utilisation of Water Resources and Engineering Safety and Qingdao Adier Desalination Centre. During the same period of the 16th Shanghai International Chemical Equipment Expo from 19-21 November 2024, the National Engineering Research Center for Efficient Use of Water Resources and Engineering Safety and Qingdao Adele Desalination Centre will jointly organize the ‘Chemical Wastewater Deep Treatment and Resource Utilisation Technology Workshop’.

Focusing on the national objectives of pollution reduction and carbon reduction and cleaner production, the conference will focus on the deep treatment and resource utilisation of wastewater in the petroleum and chemical industries, inviting industry experts and enterprise representatives to discuss key technologies, treatment processes, engineering cases and high-quality equipment for wastewater treatment in the petrochemical industry.
