The first day of the Beauty Fair, the largest beauty fair in the Americas, was marked by the exciting Opening Ceremony that honored the life and legacy of the fair's founder, Mr. Hirofumi Ikesaki. The celebration featured traditional elements of Japanese culture, such as the ritual of tea and the presentation of taiko drums, made by young people from the traditional Shinkyo Daiko group, from São Caetano do Sul.

In addition to the family members who took the stage to talk about Ikesaki's influence on their lives and society, prominent personalities of the Japanese community in Brazil were also present, such as Ryosuke Kuwana, Consul General of Japan, Toshifumi Murata, president of the Japanese Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Brazil, Alfredo Cotait Neto, president of the Confederation of Commercial and Business Associations of Brazil (CACB), Tirso Meirelles, President of Sebrae, Alexandre Luiz Ortiz, Managing Director of the Commercial Association of São Paulo and Janine Goossens, co-founder of the Jacques Janine network.

In relation to exhibitors, more than 2,000 brands offered a wide variety of actions such as differentiated sensory experiences, brush cleaning workshop, customization of hair cosmetics and environments that invite sharing and interaction in social networks.
