For instance, CHINT shared about their involvement in the largest ESS project in Southeast Asia, spearheaded by Singapore's Sembcorp Industries Ltd. This is a project by the Singapore Government to accelerate energy storage for the nation. The ESS was officialized in February 2023 and has a maximum storage capacity of 285MWh – meeting the electricity needs of around 24,000 four-room flats (measuring around 90 to 110 square meters on average) for one day in a single discharge. The project was commissioned within a 6-month tenure and is the fastest in the world of its size to be deployed to date.
With over 35 years of global experience, CHINT partners with businesses, governments, and communities to reimagine smart energy solutions that will empower the world.
CHINT's South Korea office and its Experience Center are co-located at Indeogwon IT Valley.
