Every sector needs continuous innovation and the food & beverage sector is no exception. On the contrary, with a country-system that here plays a leading role on the world stage - both in terms of the quality of raw materials and products of excellence - the most advanced technological companies, the key players in the food industry and the most authoritative voices answer the call of CIBUS TEC. This will be held at Parma Fiere from 24 to 27 october.

AETNA GROUP is obviously not missing from the line up. In fact, it will be exhibiting its expertise in hall 03 - stand A 014, positioning itself as one of the leading players at the event.

With more than 1,200 exhibitors, more than 400 foreign brands from 30 countries, over 40,000 visitors expected from Italy, and 120 countries worldwide, Cibus Tec 2023 is a smart and innovative organisation. Furthermore, it is a consistent intermediary, creating networking events for companies and professionals in the sector by providing opportunities for business as well as exchanging ideas aimed at determining the best strategies for the entire sector.

Today's food industry has two main drivers: making solid progress which - at the same time - need to be highly environmentally sustainable. This is the strong and clear message that Parma, Italy's Food and FoodTec Valley (where the passion for quality food has deep roots and is linked to the best technologies as well as skills) wishes to send.

This exhibition represents a unique opportunity for Aetna Group to give visibility to its end-of-line packaging solutions to Food & Beverage companies, with machines and processes that are increasingly digital and looking towards a new competitiveness in terms of sustainability and circular economy.

OCME, with its headquarters located in the ducal city, will open its doors to visitors and customers on demand, who will be able to witness the company's solutions in operation. An exclusive opportunity to understand in real time, the competitive advantage offered by one of the main brands of the Aetna Group, a leader in the design and construction of fully automated lines. In the exhibition hall OCME will display a laser-guided vehicle from the Auriga family (LGV), whose experts will explain its functions and potential for the development of internal logistics.

Robopac Machinery, on the other side, will show its range of automatic wrapping machines: the Technoplat CW 508 PDS model with clamp, cut and film sealing system as well as the Robotape 50 semi-automatic taping machine for fixed size cases. The latest proposal from the Machinery division is the iconic Robot S7. This is a self-propelled packaging machine, which uses R-Connect technology for connected and advanced monitoring to optimise production performance. Furthermore, Robot S7 features the Stop&Go function, which guarantees an immediate stop in the presence of obstacles and automatic restart.

Designed to offer maximum efficiency in the packaging of plastic bottles is the Prasmatic TC300 W case packer. Ideal for medium to high-speed production, it packages plastic bottles for sauces and ketchup with wrap-around carton packs, for formats ranging from full cases to full-height trays as well as quarter pallets with half-height trays.

Among the most effective solutions for packaging cheese slices that are flow-packed and packaged in wrap-around cartons is the WA20 from Sotemapack. This facilitates packaging and reduces transportation as well as raw material costs.

The binomial 'best savings-maximum efficiency' is also behind the solution presented in Parma by Meypack: the new FW200, a cold stretch film wrapping machine. Its debut at the last edition of Interpack was met with great success. The FW200 - without shrink tunnel - allows significant energy and space savings in the horizontal packaging of cases of frozen and non-frozen products for transport; the 'easy open' tear strip option can also be added. The historical German company Meypack, founded in 1956, is the latest production unit to become part of the Aetna Group (June 2022) and is the group’s fourth facility outside Italy after those in the USA, Brazil and China.

From OCME to MEYPACK, Through ROBOPAC and its various bus, AETNA GROUP exhibits its one global company vision with a tailor-made approach that clearly differentiates it from its competitors. In fact, it provides an unquestionable level of service and product quality throughout the world, in accordance with the production and territorial requirements of each market.
