As the leading Food & Beverage tradeshow in Japan and Asia,
FOODEX JAPAN provides business expansion opportunities and provides solutions for Food & Beverage related world issues.
World-class international food and beverage exhibition in Asia FOODEX JAPAN, held by Japan Management Association (JMA, Minato Ward Tokyo・Chairman: Masami Nakamura) and other 4 organizations, relocates the venue to Tokyo Big Sight in March 2023.
JAPAN FOODEX has been trying to find answers to the social issues on food. However, the issues are no longer only about what we eat and drink. So-called “Food Tech” now plays an important role in solving them. We need to accelerate automation to alleviate labor shortage and increase productivity and we also must innovate the refrigeration technology to contribute to manpower-saving and food loss, which leads to the accomplishment of SDGs. In addition, rapidly-expanded food delivery and development of alternative materials for the conservation of the natural environment are significant concepts of food tech as well. FOODEX JAPAN will improve these Non-food-fields and take the physical exhibition as the main measure against the diverse social issues in the post-COVID-19 world.
In order to expand the exhibition, we have determined to use Tokyo Big Sight as the event revenue for FOODEX JAPAN from 2023. Social issues have been varying through the pandemic and they cannot be solved by individuals. ALL of us in the food industry must tackle the issues as a team. FOODEX JAPAN will keep making the platform connecting every industrial player to promote the food industry and resolve the issues.
FOODEX JAPAN is one of Asia's largest international food and beverage exhibitions.
We provide the following solutions to solve global food issues.

The total exhibition area is 115,420㎡, boasting the number one in Japan. About 300 events are held, and about 14 million visitors come from all over the world each year.
It takes about 30 minutes by train from Tokyo Station and about 15 minutes by car from Haneda Airport, providing easy access from central Tokyo and the airport. In addition, it is a location where you can feel the open environment facing the sea and surrounded by greenery while being easily accessible from central Tokyo.
Pre-scheduled business matching is the complimentary service for exhibitors and selected official buyers. For Individual or National Pavilion’s exhibitors, this is a great opportunity to expand the business with potential buyers.
In this series, we ask buyers questions from all kinds of angles, such as how the buyers for Japanese importers and distributors find foreign foods and beverages, what criteria they use for selecting products, and how they introduce products to the Japanese market.
We find out where the Japanese market's eye and buyer's eye are looking.
