BAU, the World's Leading Trade Fair for Architecture, Materials and Systems, takes place every two years. Everyone involved in the international community for planning, building and designing buildings comes together here—i.e. architects, planners, investors, representatives of the industrial and commercial sectors, the building trades, etc. BAU bundles know-how from all branches of industry and trades at a high international level. BAU honored with Silver at the Red Dot Design Award for Brand Design & Identity
BAU, the world's leading trade fair for architecture, materials and systems, is moving with the times and has a new look. In summer 2023, we launched our fresh brand design, which has now been honored with the prestigious Red Dot Design Award in silver in the "Brand Design & Identity" category.
Our award-winning rebranding, designed and implemented by the Serviceplan Group's renowned agency team, celebrates change with a new design that represents the current development of architecture. It is more than just a logo - it is a living platform. The combination of different forms creates an adaptive design that reflects the ongoing building process and the flexibility of modern architecture.
This honor from the Red Dot Design Award spurs us on to continue shaping progress in architecture. We look forward to following this path together with you.

Outstanding ratings from exhibitors and visitors
Are we headed in the right direction with BAU's concept and services? We ask ourselves this question at end of each exhibition. Which is why we had the opinion research institute TNS Infratest conduct a survey of visitors and exhibitors on our behalf again at BAU 2023. The results are more than positive. Everyone—exhibitors and visitors alike—was thrilled. That makes us very happy—and we consider it a genuine obligation.

Get to know more about the visitors at BAU 2023
More than a quarter of a million people attended BAU 2023 during the six days of the fair, nearly one-third of them were from abroad. That clearly demonstrates one thing: BAU is at home in Germany, a leading event in Europe, and the global standard.
